Out very soon (March 2011) is the 3D Film of “The Turtle’s Tale”

Turtle’s Tale’ is a stunning 3D animation that charts the adventures of Sammy the Sea Turtle as he swims the ocean in search of his lost love. After hatching on a Californian beach, Sammy heads for the sea where he finds and loses the love of his life, Shelly. Setting out on an epic journey, the tenacious turtle must battle hungry piranhas, escape a fearsome fish eagle and find a secret passage if he is to be reunited with Shelly.

RIO (in 3D animation)

Fox Star Studio’s next 3D animation film is called “Rio”. It is all set for release 15th April 2011. With pixel perfect 3D animation it is set in the magnificent city of Rio de Janeiro and the lush rainforests of Brazil. Rio is a comedy-adventure film which centers on ‘Blu’, a rare macaw who thinks he is the last of his kind.  See the official RIO WEBSITE with Trailers here… He get’s to travel Rio and confronts is fear of flying in the process. The visual effects and post-production teams behind top-rated TV programs such as “Glee,” “NCIS”, “Bones” and others are using digital entertainment creation software from Autodesk (for 3D Animation Effects).

The company said it is seeing visual effects and compositing tools used heavily on a variety of programs for compositing, cleanup and beauty work and on more dramatic programs for heavy visual effects sequences.

Eden FX has tightly integrated Autodesk Maya, Autodesk Softimage, Autodesk 3ds Max and Autodesk Mudbox 3D animation software tools into its workflow.

Los Angeles-based LOOK FX is working on the sixth season of “Bones” and also contributes visual effects to “Harry’s Law” and “No Ordinary Family” using a range of tools that includes Maya, Mudbox, Autodesk Flame and Autodesk Flare.

FuseFX creates visual effects for several new and popular shows. 3ds Max, its primary tool for computer generated animation and effects work for both TV and film, has been critical to its success as a visual effects facility.
